Each piece carries rich symbolism inspired by ancient cultures, mythologies, shamanic journeys, and a lifelong fascination with myth and ritual, shaped by travels and everyday intimate moments.
The entire process—drawing, painting, dyeing, sewing—is done by Wiktoria in her atelier in Ljubljana, where she lives and works since 2022.

Wiktoria Mańkowska (b. 1995, Warsaw, Poland) is a visual artist working across painting, illustration and textile.
She currently focuses on oil painting, developing works that explore the theme of memory. Her practice combines observation with speculative narratives that examine the human position within a multispecies world, as well as structures of community and self-sufficiency.
In 2022, she received an MFA from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Poland (Faculty of Graphic Arts). Her work has been presented in Slovenia, including at Dobravaga in Ljubljana, and internationally at Solatorium Jazdów (Warsaw, Poland), Athens Art Book Fair (Athens, Greece) and Blinkblink (Berlin, Germany).
